Taj Mahotsav is a vibrant cultural festival held annually in Agra, near the Eastern Gate of the Taj Mahal, usually in February. Organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, this 10-day extravaganza celebrates India’s rich heritage, arts, crafts, cuisine, music, and dance.
Art & Handicrafts: Over 400 artisans from across India showcase traditional crafts like marble inlay work, wood carvings, brassware, handwoven saris, pottery, and more.
Cultural Performances: Folk dances, classical music, drama, and performances by well-known artists entertain thousands of visitors.
Food Festival: Savor authentic Indian cuisine from different states, including Mughlai, Awadhi, South Indian, and street food specialties.
Carnival & Fun Fair: A dedicated zone for children with rides, games, and street performers creates a festive atmosphere.
